The San Francisco Carousel
Hand painted in Italy, the San Francisco Carousel is a true Pier 39 favorite. The ride features colorful animals, local landmark artwork, and a warm, nostalgic glow that feels like stepping into a storybook version of San Francisco.
Kids love choosing their favorite animal to ride, and adults enjoy the charm, craftsmanship, and waterfront backdrop. It’s the perfect “just one more ride!” attraction for families.
Ticketing Info
- All riders require a ticket.
- Riders under 43 inches must be accompanied by a paid adult.
- Children 2 and under ride free but must be accompanied by a paid adult.

The Bay Plunge
The Bay Plunge delivers a quick hit of thrills with a big dose of Bay views. Rotating riders up a tower and lifting them approximately 40 feet into the air, the attraction offers a sweeping look at the water before plunging them down in a rush of laughter and weightless moments.
Ticketing Info
- One ticket is required per rider.
- Tickets can be purchased at the carousel ticket booth on-site or online.
- Riders must be at least 42" tall to ride alone. Guests between 38" and 42" may ride with a paid accompanying adult.
